Based in South Korea, Neo Tech has more than 10 years of suspension manufacturing experience and specializes in high-quality performance suspension systems. By combining Neo Tech's suspension engineering and manufacturing experience with RPM Tesla's 14 years of experience specializing in Tesla vehicles, we have worked together to develop a coilover specifically tuned around the unique weight, suspension geometry, and everyday driving characteristics of the Tesla Model Y.

The goal was simple: create a true comfort-focused coilover that is easier to install, lowers the Model Y, reduces the large factory wheel gap, and most importantly provides an exceptionally smooth ride for everyday driving.

The result is the Neo Tech × RPM Tesla Comfort Coilover System.

Designed to Ride Softer Than Stock

Unlike many aftermarket coilovers that prioritize stiffness and aggressive handling, this system was developed specifically for Model Y owners who want a lowered stance without sacrificing ride comfort.

These coilovers are tuned to provide a softer, more refined ride than the factory suspension, helping absorb harsh road imperfections while maintaining controlled handling and stability.

Each set arrives preset to our recommended comfort settings, including:

• Softest recommended damping setting
• Approximately 1.5" preset lowering
• Adjustable ride height allowing up to approximately a 2" drop
• Fine-tuned specifically for comfortable street driving

The 1.5" preset height dramatically reduces the large factory gap between the tire and fender while still maintaining a practical ride height for everyday use.

If you prefer a different height or damping setting, both can be adjusted to suit your preference.

Full Replacement Coilover System

One of the biggest advantages of the Neo Tech × RPM Tesla system is its complete replacement design.

Many competing Model Y suspension kits require you to disassemble the factory strut assembly and transfer components using a spring compressor. This adds significant installation time and introduces additional complexity.

Our front coilovers arrive with 6061-T6 aluminum top hats already installed, meaning there is no need to remove and transfer the factory front top hats or compress the factory springs.

Simply remove the factory suspension assembly and install the Neo Tech replacement coilover.

The factory rear upper shock mount will need to be transferred to the new rear damper.

This complete design makes installation significantly easier and more straightforward than many competing coilover systems.

24-Way Adjustable Damping

Each coilover features 24 levels of damping adjustment, allowing you to fine-tune the suspension to your personal driving preference.

The Comfort Series is shipped preset toward the softest ride setting, which we believe provides the ideal balance for everyday Model Y driving.

Drivers who prefer slightly firmer handling can easily increase damping without changing the springs or replacing components.

High-Flow Digressive Piston & Valving

At the heart of the system is Neo Tech's high-flow digressive piston and valving technology.

The damping curve has been specifically developed to help absorb harsh, high-speed road impacts while maintaining controlled mid-stroke suspension movement.

This is particularly important for Tesla vehicles because of their:

• Heavy battery packs
• Low center of gravity
• Instant electric motor torque
• Unique front-to-rear weight distribution

Instead of simply making the suspension stiff, the system is calibrated to provide a plush and refined ride while still controlling the additional mass of the Model Y.

Monotube Damper Construction

Each coilover uses a monotube damper design for improved oil control and heat dissipation.

Compared with conventional twin-tube designs, the monotube construction helps maintain more consistent damping performance during repeated suspension movement and reduces performance fade as temperatures increase.

Neo Tech builds these coilovers using components designed for long-term durability and consistent performance.

6061-T6 Aluminum Top Hats

Lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminum top hats are included on the front assemblies for improved durability and simplified installation.

High-Strength SiCr Alloy Springs

High-strength silicon-chromium alloy springs are engineered to withstand the additional weight and instant torque characteristics of Tesla's EV platform.

Nickel-Zinc Plated Shock Bodies

The shock bodies feature a nickel-zinc plated finish to help protect against corrosion and long-term exposure to road conditions.

Enhanced Rubber Bushings

Specially selected rubber compounds help maintain low levels of noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) while providing more precise suspension and steering response.

Independent Height & Suspension Adjustment

The adjustable spring perch and lower mounting system allow ride height to be changed independently from damper travel.

This makes it possible to achieve the desired lowered appearance without unnecessarily compromising suspension travel.

The system can be adjusted from a mild drop to approximately 2 inches lower than stock.

For most customers, we recommend the factory preset approximately 1.5" drop for the best combination of appearance, ground clearance, and ride quality.

These spring rates were selected together with the damper valving to provide a comfortable street-oriented setup while properly controlling the Model Y's weight.

2026+ Model Y Performance - EDC Cancellation Kit

The 2026+ Model Y Performance uses electronically controlled factory dampers.

When selecting 2026+ Performance from the vehicle options, an EDC Cancellation Kit is required.

The EDC cancellation system allows the Neo Tech mechanical coilovers to replace the electronically controlled factory suspension without creating electronic damping conflicts.

Make sure to select the correct Vehicle Year and Model Y Trim before ordering.
