In October 2025, we introduced our Generation 2 under-glow kits. This new iteration has undergone significant enhancements, including the incorporation of waterproof sectional connectors. These connectors enable customers to replace individual light segments without the need to replace the entire 4 piece kit. This is particularly beneficial, as it addresses the common issue of damage to one of the four sections of lights caused by road debris. By eliminating the requirement for customers to purchase a new kit as a replacement, we provide a more convenient and cost-effective solution.

These are distinct from our initial IR version. This version is Bluetooth-controlled via an application, and the LED effects are achieved through sequential operation. Additionally, the device offers numerous adjustable options, including brightness, the speed of the sequential LEDs, and the ability to turn the lights on and off. 

Also with the Bluetooth connection you don't have to be pointing a remote at your car, in fact, you can be driving when you change the light show.  Certain colors are not legal to be using on freeways or roads, so please check with your local police authorities.  

They are easy to install and very bright and intense.  Each of the 4 connected LED strips has enough slack between the strips to fit all Tesla Models as well as any other car type.

Under Hood Low Voltage Battery Compatibility Information.  Most Teslas built after October 2022 use a 16V Lithium-Ion low-voltage battery.

To ensure you order the correct kit, check which battery your Tesla has:

1. On your Tesla screen, go to Controls → Software → Additional Vehicle Information.

2. Look under Low Voltage Battery Type.

3. If it says “Lithium-Ion 16V”, select the 16V Under-Glow Kit.

4. If it says “12V Lead-Acid”, select our 12V.

Troubleshooting: If you’re having trouble with your LED strips, here’s a quick fix: try unplugging the power and then plugging it back in. If that doesn’t work, here’s how to adjust the settings: open the app, click on the top bar, then select “pixels” from the dropdown menu, and set the pixel amount to 1000. After that, turn the lights on and off a few times, and your RGB lights should be working properly.  

Connection and Function:  just connect the positive and negative wire leads to your 12 or 16 volt battery under your hood and the LED's come alive.  

There are a total of 382 waterproof Diodes encased in the 4 diode strips with 90 on the front & rear with 104 diodes on each side.  

Included:  4 Packets of adhesive promoter, wire clip holders.
